Services

I offer psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to children, adolescents and adults. My standard fee is $150/session (slightly higher for child work), but I sometimes have availability for sliding scale fees, which I will be glad to discuss during our consultation..

Adult Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a collaborative treatment process that involves talking with a trained mental health professional. It aims to help individuals understand and manage their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, ultimately leading to improved mental well-being. Through various techniques, psychotherapy address a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, fostering personal growth and resilience.

Child and Family Psychotherapy

Play therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses play to help children express their feelings, thoughts, and experiences in a safe environment. It enables children to communicate through play, allowing therapists to gain insight into emotions and behaviors. Collaborating with parents is crucial in the therapeutic process, as it fosters a supportive network and ensures that the strategies used in therapy are reinforced at home. This partnership enhances the child's progress and promotes overall well-being.

Psychoanalysis

Psychoanalysis is a therapeutic approach that explores the unconscious mind to understand thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It delves into past experiences and relationships uncover underlying issues that may influence present behavior. Meeting 3-4 times per week be particularly beneficial as it fosters a deeper connection between the therapist and the patient, allowing for more frequent exploration of emotions and thoughts. This regularity helps accelerate personal insight and promotes a more profound therapeutic process.
